Wuthinan Krichkumchorn, the so-called Harry Potter of Asia, is coming to Davao City to perform the act that won him the People’s Choice Award in the recently-concluded international Festival of Magic 2008 held in Malaysia.
The 12-year-old Thailander impressed the crowd with his Harry Potter act, a huge hit that captured the hearts of the audience in that magic festival. Trained by Thailand’s Magic Guru Mamada, Wuthinan or plain called Harry is Asia’s most promising magician. He and several other topnotch Asian magicians will be in Davao City for the three-day international magic festival this weekend. A competition, open to all Filipino magicians, will start on Friday at the atrium of Gaisano Mall of Davao, and the finals will be held on Saturday, also at the same venue. The Friday and Saturday shows are for free. On Sunday evening is the grand show at CAP Auditorium featuring Asia’s Harry Potter.
